Happy New Year!

So 2013 is finally here. Happy New Year! And will this be a happy year for you? Do you have plans for this year? Maybe you’re expecting a new bundle of joy? Maybe your youngest will celebrate a few more milestones- first birthday, first tooth, first steps? Since it’s the first month of a brand new year, we’d love to hear about some more firsts in your parenting adventure. Get in touch and tell us what’s happening for you right now.

Babyhuddle is really excited about 2013 and we’re glad to have you along for the ride. We want to extend the ways in which we help you this year, by making sure that our unique community grows and develops in all the ways that you need it to. So, how can we do that?

This week we posted about New Year’s resolutions and we asked you to let us know how we can help you. Is there an area of parenting that you’d like to improve upon, or make changes to? Maybe you’d like to play more with the kids, or maybe you’re entering a new phase in your little one’s development- such as weaning, or walking, or learning to read. Whatever you’d like support with, Babyhuddle would like to help!

How will we do this? Well, we’d like you to tell us about your plans for change and we’d like you to commit to making them happen.  Either email us with details of the thing you’d like to change, or get in touch to arrange writing a post. We’ll publish your story on the blog and then we’ll open it up to the community. Real parents giving real parents advice, tips and support. Then you get to choose the advice you think suits you and your family best. After that, you come back and tell us how you got on. Simple!

So, are you up for making some changes this year? Parenting is never a closed book and children are never predictable. Let’s face it, we all need some help sometimes, which is why it’s important to remember that you’re never alone. Babyhuddle built this inclusive community for you- to grow as a parent and gain confidence in the things that matter.

We look forward to hearing from you, and don’t forget that if you’d like to give rather than receive support and advice, we’re looking for you too! Let us know your area of expertise and we’ll call on when we need to.
